General Manager Operations

Jeffrey W. Muntz is a General Manager of Fundamental Labor Strategies®, Inc. (FLS) with Operations Management being his main area of focus. In this role, Jeff oversees all aspects of Dispatch, Driver Management, and Account Management for the company.

Jeff’s career in the transportation industry began in 1990. This included experiences as an owner operator, company driver, and operations manager. He joined FLS in 2001 as a driver manager in the Northern/Eastern Pennsylvania market, then in 2003 moved to the corporate office as Manager of Federal DOT Compliance and later a Human Resource Manager.

With FLS, Jeff has worked in all aspects of driver management including DOT compliance, safety and training, healthcare, workers’ compensation claim management, unemployment compensation management, and new hire underwriting for hundreds of employees. Jeff is qualified to conduct Reasonable Suspicion and Alcohol Screening Test Technician (STT) training.

On February 6th, 2018, Jeff earned his Certified Transportation Professional designation from the National Private Truck Council. The CTP designation confirms that Jeff has the knowledge and ability to understand complex operational and regulatory issues, identify and evaluate potential costs and savings, and is able to develop systems and practices that best meet your company’s transportation needs and objectives.
