CDL A Hazmat Driver (Riverhead, NY)
At Fundamental Labor Strategies we are looking for experienced CDL-A Hazmat Drivers for a high – demand seasonal winter CNG operation. This will run from Nov. 2 through mid – March. Drivers will earn $80,000 + during the season. You will be part of an essential energy support team that helps keep businesses and communities operational during peak winter demand.

What you can expect:
- $40 per hour – OT after 40 hours/week ($60.00/hr.)
- $2,500 sign on bonus-paid on your first paycheck after orientation
- $2,500 completion bonus – paid at the project end (March)
- Full Time – Seasonal assignment – November through March Schedule
- 12-shifts supporting 7 -day operations
- Home daily- while staged locally
- CNG delivery, equipment support, and on-site standby responsibility

What you’ll do:
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles and CNG transportation equipment
- Transport and deliver compressed natural gas
- Support standby emergency response operations
- Complete DOT – required inspections and documentation
- Maintain all company, DOT and regulatory safety requirements
- Perform occasional replenishment trips to designated refill locations

What we need:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum 2 years CDL -A experience, verifiable with a past employer(s)
- Minimum 1 year of Hazmat experience, verifiable with a past employer(s)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background screening and clearing house requirements
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including working in all weather conditions and walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs, and climbing ladders
