Farmingdale Music on Main – Farmingdale Music on Main is a popular annual summer event series held in downtown Farmingdale on Main Street. Music on Main is designed to be a family-friendly event that showcases local businesses and provides entertainment for the community during the summer.

Women’s Club of Farmingdale – The Women’s Club of Farmingdale was established in 1913 by Abigail E. Leonard, to promote civic, educational and social interests. Today, the purpose of the club has shifted toward philanthropic interests, and its members engage in various community service activities including supporting local charities and outreach centers and presenting scholastic awards to Farmingdale High School students.

Post Office of Farmingdale  – The first Post Office for Farmingdale was established in 1845. The office was out of Postmaster John Monfort’s house and it served approximately 30 families.  In 1943, Postmaster Frank Talbot moved the post office to 323 Main Street. By 1962, the post office had outgrown its space and was moved to 380 Main Street, where it currently operates today.
