FMCSA Publishes Final HOS Rule
Released in May, the final ruling includes four new revisions that were made due to truck driver and industry concerns. There are revisions to:
- The Short-Haul Exemption
- Adverse Driving Conditions
- The 30-Minute Break
- Split-Sleeper Berth Rules
The final rule is expected to increase flexibility for drivers and reduce costs for motor carriers.
